Part exploration of loss and part environmental inquiry, Where Does That Flower Bloom traces Conner Gordon’s process of coming to terms with the Northern Indiana landscape of his childhood and the memories it contains. By interweaving photographs of Winona Lake with his grandmother's family snapshots, Gordon seeks to understand what it means to relate to a place and a person defined by loss, nostalgia, and the shadow of environmental degradation threatening to wash it all away.

These Grand Places
Tomiko Jones
Main Gallery

September 4-November 20, 2026

These Grand Places was ignited by seeing a list of federally protected public land to be reviewed for de-regulation during the first Trump administration. Through deep engagement and time spent on site, These Grand Places explores public land and national identity, uncovering the complexities of the current geopolitical and environmental moment, while illuminating the beauty of public lands. This project builds on lifelong concepts in Tomiko Jones’s work on place, belonging, and the care with which we move through the world as artists.
