Aurora PhotoCenter Membership Benefits

We’re excited to have you become a Member at Aurora! All memberships include the following benefits:

• Take all five of Aurora’s Core Workshops for FREE and learn how to do all the things you can do in Aurora’s workspaces!

Take all five Core Workshops for FREE (included in your membership). The 5 Core Workshops in our darkroom and digital lab help you refresh your skills, get up and running with your image-making, and show you where everything is in our workspaces. (Yes, you can take all five!) Just click on the links below to see the upcoming sessions for each Core Workshop — then email us at info@auroraphoto.org to let us know which sessions you want to take. We offer each of the Core Workshops once per month every month. Each Core Workshop is a single session, 2-3 hours long.

The Core Workshops include:

Developing Black & White Film
Developing Color Film
Making a Black & White Print
Scanning Basics
Digital Printing Basics

• Reserve and rent any of the Aurora PhotoCenter DIY workspaces, including the darkroom, digital imaging area, and finishing area.

Darkroom rental is $15 p/h including all chemistry and equipment. In the digital lab, scanning is $15 p/h; output to our archival inkjet printers is either 9 cents a square inch if you use our paper, or 5 cents a square inch if you bring your own paper. To reserve, you email us at info@auroraphoto.org with the date, time, duration, and what you want to do (develop 3 rolls of color 120 film, for example) of your desired reservation, and we’ll confirm via email. If you want to come work in the labs outside of the posted regular business hours, we can usually work that out, so just ask!

• 5% off at Roberts Camera on film, chemistry, and darkroom paper on usedphotopro.com and in-store

• 10% discount on Aurora workshops and special events

• Enter up to 5 images FREE for the Aurora Members Juried Exhibition, which will be held December 4, 2026-January 15, 2027 in Aurora’s Main Gallery.

The deadline to submit work for consideration for the Members Juried Exhibition is August 31, 2026. Aurora will print and prepare for installation all work accepted for the show - no extra expense to you. Check out the details here:

https://www.auroraphoto.org/aurora-2026-members-juried-exhibition

Memberships are valid continuously starting the day of purchase for the stated time period of the membership.

After payment, you will receive an Aurora PhotoCenter Membership Card, with discount codes for Roberts Camera and Aurora discounts, via email.
