Indiana-based photographer and Aurora PhotoCenter member Joel Atkinson recalls the magic of the holidays with his nostalgic image, Winter Lights.
Joel Atkinson is a photographer and artist living in Indianapolis. His work uses whimsy and absurdism in the hope of provoking, confusing, or delighting the viewer (and maybe all three at once). When he’s not taking pictures of trash in the street, he’s at his day job as Head of Public Services at Butler University Libraries.
